Your Path to Teaching at DF

Step 1 — Ambassador

Start as a Classroom Assistant, Event or Lab Host. Show consistency and leadership in our community.

Step 2 — Teaching Assistant

Weekly commitment. Train with DF faculty, support classes, and grow teaching skills.

Step 3 — Junior Teacher

Officially hired and paid role. Teach privates, intros, bootcamps, and more while continuing training.

Are these paid positions?

No. Ambassadors and TAs are unpaid. Junior Teacher is a paid staff role after successful TA stage.

Can Ambassadors move into the TA program?

Yes! Many Ambassadors grow into TA positions.

What’s required for TA?

CONRI Style (from Cornel & Rithika) fuses bachata with urban/commercial dynamics: crisp body movement, musical accents, dynamic footwork, and clean partner connections—taught within an instructor framework that emphasizes pedagogy and precision.

Bachata Styling Classes in Salt Lake City

Whether you are a beginner wanting to develop your body movement or an experienced dancer looking to refine your artistry, these classes are designed to help you stand out on the dance floor.

Who Can Join?

Our Bachata Styling classes are open to all Bachata dancers who want to elevate their dancing. You don’t need a partner – just bring yourself, comfortable shoes, and a willingness to move! Classes are beginner-friendly but will also challenge more advanced dancers with fresh drills and combinations.

Salsa on 2 Fundamentals – Mondays @ 8 pm

Join our new **Salsa on 2 (New York style)** class at DF Dance Studio Mondays, 8–9 pm. Designed for experienced salsa dancers who’ve completed or are enrolled in Salsa Level 3.
