Your Friday Night at WestieHive
WestieHive happens every first and third Friday. Choose the class that fits your experience, then join the social at 9 PM. The beginner and intermediate classes take place at the same time.

Start with the Basics
New to West Coast Swing? Begin with an introductory class before the social. It is a chance to learn your first steps and get more comfortable before joining the dance floor.
8–9 PM · Level 2 and Higher
Build on What You Know
Already have West Coast Swing experience? Join the intermediate class with a guest teacher, then take what you learned onto the social floor. Check the class listing below for the scheduled session.
9 PM–Midnight · Social
Stay for the Dancing
Three hours of West Coast Swing, time with friends, and opportunities to meet other local dancers. Come after class or join us when the social begins.

Beginner and intermediate West Coast Swing classes run from 8–9 PM. Partners are not required. Space is limited, so find your preferred date and class in the schedule below and register ahead to save time at the door.
Choose the beginner class if you are new to the dance. The intermediate class is for dancers at Level 2 and higher. Review the selected listing for class and booking details.

Find Your People on the Dance Floor
A class gives you something to work on. A social gives you time to enjoy it. WestieHive brings both into one evening, with beginner and intermediate class options followed by a dedicated West Coast Swing social.
You do not need to bring a dance partner or a whole group of friends. Come on your own, meet other dancers, and make the first and third Fridays part of your routine. For regulars, it is a place to reconnect; for newcomers, it is a place to begin.

Can I come if I have never danced West Coast Swing?
Yes. Start with the beginner class at 8 PM, then stay for social dancing from 9 PM to midnight. The intermediate class is intended for dancers at Level 2 and higher.
Do I need a partner?
No partner is required for the pre-social classes or the social. Come solo, with friends, or with a partner.
Can I come just for the social?
Yes. Join us for West Coast Swing social dancing from 9 PM to midnight on the first and third Fridays. General social admission is $15.
How do I book a class and buy social admission?
Use the class schedule to select your pre-social class and review its booking details. Use Buy WestieHive Admission for general social admission. Student and Y2K passes are available at the door.
Who can use the Y2K Pass?
The Y2K Pass is for dancers ages 18–24. It costs $8 before 9 PM and $10 at 9 PM and after, and is available at the door.
