Beginner Social Ballroom Lessons in Utah
Ballroom dancing is fun! Dress up in your nice dance shoes to swing and sway to beautiful ballroom music. With our weekly group ballroom dance classes you are sure to meet some like-minded dance enthusiasts! We rotate partners often so you can meet people and belong to a fun dancing community, although couples can remain together throughout the class. Build your confidence as a lead/follow in several styles so you can dance to any song that the DJ puts on!

All attendees must have a separate account, if you are registering someone else, please add them to your family account during sign up process. Passes can not be shared.
Level 1 takes circa 10 classes to complete. All beyond beginner classes require instructors approval to join.

Important info before your 1st Ballroom Dance lesson in our Salt Lake City Location
To schedule for the level 1 ballroom class click “sign up” above according to your preferred day of the week and start date or text/call (801) 466-0490. Prepayment is required to register.
Please wear something comfortable for physical activity to your first lesson and select your footwear carefully. We recommend shoes with semi-smooth soles to avoid sticking or slipping on the dance floor. Ballroom Dance shoes are available for sale at the studio and are a must for dedicated dancers.
Ballroom dancing incoporates many styles, such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Samba, Tango and more. Review dance videos will be posted each week to the dance class style’s specific Facebook group. (Text for info about online groups.) Going to miss multiple classes? Consider doing Private Lessons or coming to another Drop-in class
Our group dance class pricing options are per person. The cost per lesson goes down as students purchase larger packages ranging from $4 to $20 per class. Click on the specific style you would like to join to see pricing options for that course.
Dance partners are not required for our Ballroom Lessons. During each of our group dabce classes, instructors rotate partners regularly. Already have a partner? Great! Although students may choose to stay with a designated partner throughout the class, it is strongly recommended for your learning to rotate and practice with other students for optimal improvement. This practice also improves class quality for your fellow students.
Congratulations! If you have the Ballroom Level 1 steps down, we would love to have you move on to Level 2! If you aren’t confident in the Beginner steps, you can take Beginner Ballroom Class again, or book a private lesson. We recommend you talk with your instructor to help you decide your next step.
