What is Modern Country Swing?
At DF, Modern Country Swing focuses on clear lead-and-follow communication, controlled movement and dancing to the music. Classes develop the technique behind your patterns so you can move more comfortably with a partner.

Before your first class
Do I need a partner?
No. You can join Modern Country Swing classes without bringing a partner.
Do I need the Intro before Level 1?
Yes. Complete the Intro to Modern Country Swing before joining Level 1. If you have previous experience, contact the studio for placement guidance.
Do I need to be interested in competing?
No. You can take these classes simply to enjoy dancing and improve your skills. If competition interests you, ask your instructor what to work on.
