Summer is for training. This August, Utah bachateros get two focused opportunities to learn from guest artists from Spain — one weekend centered on Bachata Fusion masterclasses with Dario & Sara, and one centered on a 5-hour BachaZouk intensive with Borja & Lydia.

Borja & Lydia — 5-Hour BachaZouk Intensive
This weekend is for serious training. Borja & Lydia’s intensive is built for dancers who want more advanced body mechanics, flow, connection, and Bachata–Zouk crossover vocabulary.
About Borja & Lydia: Borja & Lydia are Madrid-based dancers, instructors, and choreographers known for Bachazouk and Brazilian Zouk influences, with a movement style built around fluidity, precision, and advanced connection.

Bachata Workshop FAQ
Do I need a partner?
No partner is required. For partnerwork-based training, dancers rotate so everyone gets more practice and more variety.
Which weekend should I choose?
Choose Dario & Sara if you want Bachata Fusion, musicality, creativity, and stronger social-floor polish. Choose Borja & Lydia if you are already Level 3+ and want a deeper BachaZouk-intensive training experience.
Is Borja & Lydia beginner-friendly?
No. The Borja & Lydia weekend is positioned as a Level 3+ intermediate/advanced intensive and is best for dancers with a real Bachata base already in place.
How is pricing structured?
Dario & Sara currently has Early Bird and Day Of pricing. Borja & Lydia has Early Bird, Week Of, and Day Of pricing, with separate Friday and Saturday options as well as a full two-day pass.
