We are super excited to have Lindsay teach this 3-hour workshop on the basics of Pachanga, Cha Cha, and Salsa on 2 (also known as New York style Salsa)! Learn techniques to add dynamics, styling, and fluidity to your dancing! This workshop is only available on Saturday, November 4, so you don't want to miss it!
1st Hour - Pachanga: Footwork done to a certain type of salsa music called charanga, known for it's happy go lucky bouncy style!
2nd Hour - Cha Cha: This is not your ballroom cha cha, but cha cha danced at salsa socials in a more relaxed and social way. 3rd Hour - Salsa On2 (New York Style): Known for dancing to the percussions as opposed to dancing to the melody. Dancers follow the conga especially focusing on the tumbao rhythm. It's smoother, more fluid style of salsa dancing.Level: Beginner to Pre-Intermediate - It'd help for you to know some basics of Salsa (e.g. R & L turns, crossbody lead, open break).
