Brazilian Zouk Lessons in Utah
Brazilian Zouk is one of the most popular Latin dances. It is a partner dance inspired by the “Lambada” and is one of the most popular dances of Brazil. It is a sensual dance with a close connection embraced, wild spins, long steps, body isolations, and upper-body movements, and it has been gaining its popularity in the recent years all over the world & especially at Latin clubs & socials. This smooth & romantic dance with a lot of focus on body movement & connection!
Classes usually have 25-35 people. Classes may be cancelled if average attendance is lower than 12 people.

We don't accept Amex. All attendees must have a separate account. Passes can not be shared. Beginner 10 week courses will use the entire 10 week pass. No partner is required for any of the classes. We rotate partners in class.
Missed classes can be made up by coming to Drop-in classes before expiration of your pass.

Important info before your 1st lesson
To schedule for the Beginner class click “sign up” above according to your preferred day of the week and start date or text/call (801) 466-0490. Prepayment is required to register.
Please wear something comfortable for physical activity to your first lesson and select your footwear carefully. We recommend shoes with semi-smooth soles to avoid sticking or slipping on the dance floor. Dance shoes are available for sale at the studio and are a must for dedicated dancers.
Unless stated otherwise, all of our Beginner classes are 10 week progressive courses. If you know you will miss a week or two, please let your instructor know by texting (801) 466-0490. Review videos will be posted each week to the style’s specific Facebook group. (Text for info about Facebook groups.) Going to miss multiple classes? Consider doing Private Lessons or registering for a later start date.
Our group class pricing options are per person. The cost per lesson goes down as students purchase larger packages ranging from $8 to $17 per class. Click on the specific style you would like to join to see pricing options for that course.
Dance partners are not required. During each of our group classes, instructors rotate partners regularly. Already have a partner? Great! Although students may choose to stay with a designated partner throughout the class, it is strongly recommended for your learning to rotate and practice with other students for optimal improvement. This practice also improves class quality for your fellow students.
Congratulations! If you have the Beginner steps down, we would love to have you move on to Pre-Intermediate! If you aren’t confident in the Beginner steps, you can take the course again, or book a private lesson. We recommend you talk with your instructor to help you decide your next step.

Margarita and Johnny are Sensual Bachata dancers and instructors based in Seattle, WA and Sensual Bachata America Ambassadors. They have been mentored by Korke and Judith and train with top instructors from Spain, such as Luis and Andrea, Pamela and Carlos, Alonso and Noelia, Berra and Laura, Truji and Gloria, Pablo and Raquel and others. Margarita and Johnny concentrate on teaching safe technique, concepts of ‘leading and following’, and partner connection with focus on social dancing skills.Cost:

- David Princess originally from Costa Rica and now based in LA, is a professional dancer and Salsa choreographer. He is an 11-time world Salsa Champion, with titles from The Summit, Euroson Latino World Salsa and more. David is passionate about teaching and is dedicated to creating a space where his students can learn the basics while enyoing their own unique process.
- Arieh Alexander born in Los Angeles. He has taught around the world from India to taiwan to Puerto Rico and more, training in different dance styles. He has also trained and danced alongside the amazing Franklin Diaz. He is passionate about helping his students find their own voice while dancing.

We love you but we don't offer refunds on anything purchased online or in-studio. However we will gladly switch to another class or teacher to make sure you have the best experience at our studio!
Classes do not roll over past the expiration date of 90 days. Please take a look at our calendar and attend another class at the start of your level. We have many options available!
